Hello, I’m Alex—an experienced wedding photographer based in Liverpool, with a lifelong passion for capturing moments that truly matter.
Photography has been close to my heart since my school days. There’s something timeless and powerful about freezing a fleeting moment—preserving the emotion, the atmosphere, and the beauty of something that will never happen in quite the same way again.
For the past nine years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting love stories across some of the most beautiful venues in the North West, including The West Tower in Aughton, Liverpool Cricket Club, Mitton Hall in Lancashire, and the stately Crewe Hall in Cheshire. Each couple, each setting, and each celebration brings its own unique magic—and it’s an honour to be a part of it.
I approach every wedding with a calm, friendly presence and a touch of humour to help you feel at ease. My goal is simple: to let you relax and fully enjoy your day, while I quietly capture both the grand and intimate moments that will become treasured memories.
I favour a documentary style, blending into the background to catch natural, candid moments as they unfold—but I also know the value of beautifully composed, timeless portraits. During the day, I’ll step back when needed, and gently guide when the time is right—offering you the best of both worlds.
After your ceremony, I’ll take you away for a short time – 20 to 30 minutes – for a more private shoot. These are often the most romantic, meaningful images of the day. To ensure we make the most of this time, I visit your venue ahead of the big day (ideally with you), to scout out those hidden corners and perfect backdrops that will make your photographs truly special.
I deliver a blend of colour and black & white images – often giving you both versions to choose from – on a beautifully presented USB stick, ready for you to print and share as you wish.
A Little More About Me
Outside of weddings, I’ve been the official photographer for both Warrington and Liverpool Collegiate rugby union clubs for over 11 years. I’m also passionate about travel photography – there’s nothing like capturing the soul of a place through a lens.
I live in Liverpool with my partner of over 20 years, Chris—though we really should be planning our own wedding soon (or so I keep being told!).
Music is another love of mine. My taste spans everything from soul to punk, but if I had to choose a favourite group I’d be torn between Madness, Steely Dan or Genesis.
